Regional Vice President of Growth

Location: Remote (with occasional travel)

Position Overview: We are looking for a Regional Vice President of Growth to lead our efforts in acquiring new business, expanding relationships with existing clients, and driving strategic growth across key regions. This is a high-impact role where you will own the entire sales process, from prospecting and outreach to closing and contracting, while collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to deliver exceptional value to our customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Sales Leadership: Lead the prospecting, outreach, decision, and contracting process for new business and strategic expansions within your region.
  • Relationship Building: Cultivate long-term, trust-based relationships with prospective and existing clients, partners, and advocates in the international education and risk management sectors.
  • Market Expansion: Drive growth by identifying new business opportunities, presenting Via TRM’s vision and products, and positioning our solutions to meet client needs.
  • Solution Selling: Conduct discovery calls, product demos, and client consultations, identifying the right solutions and creating custom proposals, quotes, and agreements that align with client goals.
  • Cross-Departmental Collaboration: Work closely with marketing, product, engineering, client success, and executive teams to ensure alignment and effective execution of growth strategies.
  • Data Management: Maintain consistent, accurate CRM data and provide regular updates on your pipeline, sales metrics, and client interactions.
  • Strategic Events & Conferences: Represent Via TRM at international education conferences and events, building your network and generating opportunities through presentations, networking, and product demonstrations.
  • Negotiation & Contracting: Lead negotiations and finalize terms for partnerships, ensuring that deals meet both client needs and company objectives.
  • Reporting: Report regularly to the VP of Growth, providing insights and data on sales activities, trends, and outcomes.

Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of full-time professional experience in inside/outside sales, preferably in international education, SaaS, or travel-related industries.
  • Proven track record of meeting and exceeding new business goals and key performance indicators.
  • Passion for international education, demonstrated by personal or professional experience in study abroad, ISSS, or education program providers.
  • Experience managing a portfolio of client and prospect relationships, with references to confirm successful relationship-building and account management.
  • Skilled communicator: Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills with a knack for connecting with people and inspiring action.
  • Experience with CRM software, such as HubSpot or Salesforce, and comfort with data tracking, analysis, and reporting.
  • Self-starter: Comfortable working in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment with the ability to take initiative and move projects forward with minimal oversight.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.

Nice-to-Haves:

  • Knowledge of and experience in B2B SaaS sales.
  • Experience working in tech or startup environments.
  • Proficiency in creating and analyzing spreadsheets and reports.
  • Experience working in a remote work environment
